European SMEs often expand their businesses simultaneously in several countries. In this regard, the international IP registration systems can be of great help in making your internationalisation more cost-effective and timely. The China IPR SME Helpdesk brings you three podcasts on The International Patent Cooperation Treaty, The Madrid System and The Hague System. Listen to the opening episode by clicking here.

On an afternoon in July, the Helpdesk visited the EU SME Centre in Beijing to have a chat with the Centre’s Director Mr. Chris Cheung. The discussion evolved from topics like EU SMEs’ inquiries related to IP matters to key IP considerations while doing business in or related to China. The video ‘Expanding your Business to China: A Quick Guide from the EU-SME Centre’ is available here, as well as on the Helpdesk TV channel on YouTube.
