New Recording Studio in the Ouseburn

whoo hoo...get me..moving into in the heart of Newcastle's creative industries hub.

36 Lime St is a grade II listed building and home to 42 artists studios over five floors. It is situated in the heart of the Creative Industries hub in the Ouseburn Valley part of Newcastle.

I am very much looking forward to becoming part of this community and making a bit of a racket down here for a while. I might even grow a beard.

Do come and see me if you are passing. I'm on the second floor in Studio 2G looking out over the city farm - press number 13 on the intercom. In addition to using the studio to record my own compositions, the facilities are also suitable for ADR, voice over, sound design and foley recording.

If you do pop in, I can usually supply freshly ground Ouseburn Coffee Company coffee while we chat about your music or audio requirements.

Destination Abu Dhabi

I am nearing completion on a project for the South Shields based company, Engineering Creatives, which has required a substantial amount of music and audio for 20 large scale exhibits, collectively called 'My Works'. It has taken most of this year to complete - approximately twenty four three minute music tracks plus sound design and effects as well as voice over recording.
The exhibits are to be installed in a brand new interactive educational play area in the United Arab Emirates.

Making me gob go...
Should a whimsical enchantment befall you, if you so desire you can listen to me randomly wittering on and on about the creative process, trying to explain how and why I compose media and film music on this podcast from the Guild of Northern Media Composers.

Kite Flying

My four track solo piano EP is available for sale now from I-Tunes,  Bandcamp and all other good on-line retailers.

This is what the reviews are saying...

“A beautiful piece – I think you have just answered my sister in law’s dilemma of what to walk down the aisle to in October!”

“ Beautiful atmosphere you created with the solo piano – lovely sound and very tranquil – very much chilled out now – thanks for sharing “

“Your piece is astounding. I love the melody and chord progressions you’ve used. It’s so beautifully fluid. I hope you share more.”

“Such a nostalgic and innocently wistful theme! Beautifully played too.”

Its a bargain at only £3 via Bandcamp
