Vice President
This Sunday at 10AM in the Newcomb Commonwealth Room, OYFA will be holding its Interim Elections to officially elect our interim officers as well as vote on unoccupied spaces on its Council. As it follows, the current unoccupied positions include: (1) D7 Representative, (1) Community Chair and (1) ISIP Chair. 
If you are interested in running for either of these positions or nominating someone to run, please email me at Anyone of any year may run for any position, including the contested interim positions. The interim positions that will be elected this Sunday include Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, (2) Social Chair, (2) ISIP Chair, Community Chair and D7 Chair. 
If you have any questions at all about the interim procedure, please direct them towards me.

Join us for a FREE performance and Q&A session by Ruby Ibarra, a Filipino rap and spoken word artist who raps concerning her cultural heritage and her experiences immigrating to the U.S. from the Philippines! It's that time of year again- it's time to sign up for OYFA Assassins!! Just sign up with this form: . The game will begin this Friday, November 6th, so make sure you sign up before then. It's gonna be LIT, so don't miss out. Also stay on the lookout for the Facebook event page; we'll keep everyone updated about the game on that page.

Interim elections are coming up next Sunday (11/8). If you are interested in any of the open positions, you should check out OYFA's constitution for more information about each position and election procedure: .

We will be having our OYFA Roundtable sessionSunday Nov. 8, from 6-7 pm in Newcomb Commonwealth! Come get help from experienced upperclassmen for advice on course selection, major planning, and career advice! 

THERE WILL ALSO BE FREE COSTCO PIZZA AND SNACKS SO COME COME COME! You’re all welcome to bring your laptops so that you can directly work on your schedules and look up classes! :)

Thank you for supporting Stephanie and Chris at Date Auction! We raised $1000 to bid on them. The proceeds will be going towards City of Promise.
Our next event will be after the November General Meeting this Thursday. We will work with Community and create loving Holiday cards for the Children’s Hospital!

Hey Fam! Culturefest Season is over, but Barrio Season is just around the corner (believe it or not)! Barrio will be on April 9th, 2016 so get excited! Please attend our November General Meeting this Thursday November 7th for more information about Barrio, Barrio Sign-ups, and other Barrio related fun!
