Don’t forget that the End of the Year Picnic is happening on Sunday, May 3rd at Booker T. Washington Park from 11am-3pm. Sports is organizing football games, and Membership will be handing out superlatives - so you DON'T want to miss out!

Hey OYFA!
Its your sports chairs here. Don't forget the End-of-the-Year picnic is going to be on May 3rd! We are most likely going to include a powderpuff football game but still need a few more girls to sign up! Also, the day before the picnic (a.k.a. May 2nd) we are going to be having a watch party for the Pacquaio- Mayweather fight at 1815 JPA Apt. 27!

The last D7 Culture Show is coming up! V Tech Culture Night is on Saturday, May 2nd. V Tech’s is one of the biggest Culture Nights in our district, and definitely worth the drive! There will also be an afterparty at The 622 North Restaurant on N. Main St. in Blacksburg where they will be streaming the Pacquiao Fight. If you don’t have any finals that day, go!!! Kumusta OYFAmilia!
Although CelebrAsian was cancelled yesterday and we weren’t able to see our fellow OYFAns perform, we want to thank Margie Martinez and the Pangalay performers for taking time to prepare for the event! We don’t have any up and coming events, but we’ll keep everyone updated once we do!
We hope everyone had a great time this weekend and we wish you all good luck for that finals grind before summer!

Graduation Year: 2018
Degree in: Double Major in Bio and Spanish
Hometown: Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Favorite OYFA Memory: My favorite experience was family week and getting to know everyone in OYFA through the different families. It made it easier for me to transition into college and find a family on grounds that is really inviting and accepting.
Fun Fact: I started dancing here in college because of high school friends that thought i could get far just by knowing how to twerk.
