Hey OYFAm!
Hope you guys had a great week despite the stress of OYFAssassins and midterms! At least we're close almost on break? Oh, which reminds us, THANKSGIVING POTLUCK is also coming up quickly, so help out your family heads cook and buy ingredients, also buy your family t-shirt to rep the fam. The potluck will be on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2015 in LAMBETH COMMONS at 7PM. Come watch our last couple of assassins have their final showdown that night too! It'll for sure be a sight to see.
Looking ahead, we're going to get our gift-giving on and have SECRET SANTA on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2015 in RUNK GREEN ROOM at 8PM!! Here is the form to sign up for a Secret Santa:

Hey OYFA!!!
The LGBTQ Center is hosting their LAST Safespace Training session for the Fall Term this Thursday, Nov. 19 from 4-6 PM. Although this is NOT an official OYFA event, ISIP is promoting this event in order for people to receive a thorough understanding about the LGBTQ Community as well as to show them that OYFA and the Asian American Community has their support! If ya’ll don’t know, we have set up a Relay for Life team for OYFA! Relay for Life is an amazing event held every year to help fight the battle against cancer and to celebrate those who have survived their battle. D7 Representatives
Hello OYFA!
We are still looking for delegates for the 2015 FIND Dialogue. Sign-ups will be closing at 11:59 Monday the 16th (tomorrow). On-site registration is $30. Come help us represent OYFA and D7 at UCONN on November 20-22!
We are still looking for clothes donations for OYFA thrift store. Contact either of us if you have donations and we can coordinate a pickup time.
The D7 Executive Board is also currently looking for a National Director Proxy & a PR Chair. No D7 experience is needed. The National Director Proxy’s position is an understudy to the National Directors (NDs), who act as liaisons between D7 and FIND. They are tasked to provide FIND updates on the goings on in our district as well as supporting the work of the other districts. The Public Relations chair is responsible for handling all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. He/She is the acting liaison between all District VII member schools for relaying any information including FIND, Inc. events and District VII events. This position is responsible for having access to photo editing programs for promotional material.

Lambda Phi Epsilon
If you haven’t heard, Lambda Phi Epsilon is bringing in the original winner of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Dat Phan, to do a show on Friday night at 7 PM as part of our Bone Marrow Awareness Month! The first 75 people in attendance will get a free “Laugh For Lives” mason jar! Come out for a good time and a chance to win autographed UVA football gear and other awesome raffle prizes. Make sure to get there on time for a pre-show by the Whethermen and Guest information session by Dan Gariepy from the Be the Match organization.
