Looking for a ~tasteful~ cultural experience? Wanting ~authentic~ Filipino cuisine? Well come to Filipino Food Night and discover the magic of adobo (seasoned chicken), lumpia (spring rolls), pancit (noodles) and of course, rice (rice)! Don't know what some of those are? Well come thru and find out! (Yes, there is a vegetarian option available)!

Hey OFYA!
We hope you're all having a great fall break and staying dry! As you all know, Halloween is right around the corner! And to celebrate that, ISIP and Historic will be co-host Halo-Haloween on Wednesday, October 28 from 7-10 PM at Lambeth Commons! We will be watching a Filipino Horror movie (with subtitles of course) while serving Halo-Halo (a delicious cold Filipino dessert)! So save the date and be on the look out for more details regarding the event!!! If you know of any good Filipino horror films, then e-mail either Historic (i.e. Richard or Rose) or ISIP (i.e. Kat or Lawrence) with such suggestions! Salamat!

Hope you all are having an awesome Fall Break! While you’re at home, check your houses for any gently used clothes, bags, shoes and accessories and donate them to the OYFA Thrift Store. Hope ya'll made it back home safely and are joining your Fall Break! Here are a few things you can look forward to:
The “Shoot for the Moon” Soccer Tournament happening on October 10th! Sign-ups begin right now! If you’re interested in joining and would like more information contact Kyle Liu on Facebook/ phone (516-643-5940). It’s $7 for registration, and will be TONS of fun for everyone!
Please don’t forget that we have an IM football game next Sunday after fall break(10/11). Also, out next IM season will be BASKETBALL! Be on the lookout for our posts about the time of the games!

Major: Cognitive Science and Psychology
In your opinion, which is worse, ghosts or aliens? And why?
I think ghosts are worse than aliens because of the whole possession thing. Aliens are cool though. I’d love to meet an alien as long as I don’t get probed or something.
What do you plan to do post-grad?
The hope and dream is to go to medical school provided that orgo doesn’t screw me over.
Favorite OYFA Memory?
Barrio is definitely my fav memory. I was sick that day and was basically dying but it was SO much fun nonetheless bc it was great to see the final product of all the dances after like weeks and weeks of practice.
