My one event this semester, OYFA Presents: Fall Symposium Feat. Ruby Ibarra, is this Saturday Nov. 15th from 7:30-9PM in Ern Commons! Join us for a FREE performance by this rap/spoken word artist and a Q&A session afterwards for a chance to hear how her Filipino culture has influenced her life and career!
We will also be having raffles for prizes, including a $25 gift card to Chipotle! Additionally, there will be some light refreshments served there, but we will be getting dinner at Fry's Spring Station afterwards with her, so come through!

Featured OYFAN: Maisie Finley

Name: Maisie Finley

Graduation Year: 2016

Major: Interdisciplinary Major (Anthropology, Arts Admin, Food); Dance Minor

What do you plan to do post-grad: Take a boat in Alaska to go whale watching, visit every donut shop in Portland, successfully make a 5 tiered cake, and then somewhere along those lines I might end up in grad school for Hospitality/Restaurant management.

Favorite OYFA Memory:  When my Big surprised me on my birthday by bringing other OYFA friends to scare me happy at my dorm. I'm the most oblivious person. It was great.

If you sat down on the bus, and realized the passenger next to you was Jesus, what would you talk about? That one time when miracles started out like this -->
