NEWS FROM WEST SOMERSET RESEARCH SCHOOL
Welcome!
Welcome to our first newsletter of the 2019-20 academic year.  We hope you had a good summer break and that the new school year has started well.

Here at your local Research School, we've already been busy meeting and talking to teachers and school leaders from across the region.  Thanks go to Katherine Lady Berkeley School in Gloucestershire, St Bede's Catholic College in Bristol and The Acorn Educational Trust in Wiltshire for inviting us to speak about the expanding Research Schools Network.  We've worked with NLEs from across the South West in Taunton and SLE's from all over Bristol also benefited from hearing from Lorwyn Randall, (new EEF South West Regional Lead) about 'evidence-informed school improvement'.

Scroll down to read more about recent research headlines alongside the upcoming training and events in your region.  There's certainly plenty going on and more details will follow soon.  Do get in touch if you'd like to find out more.
