Autonomous vehicles: Exciting opportunities, but daunting challenges

Co-hosted by MIT's AgeLab and the Human Systems Laboratory.
Christopher Hart, founder of Hart Solutions and a former member of the National Transportation Safety Board, will give a presentation on November 19, 3-4 p.m. in 32-141.
He will discuss automation lessons that can be learned from decades of development in aviation, and will address several new automation issues that the autonomous vehicle industry will face that have not already been encountered in other areas of industry.
