Montréal, Monday November 16 2020 – The virtual edition of CINARS Web ended on a very positive note thanks, among other things, to the strong participation of international broadcasters. From November 9 to 13, 732 professionals from 50 countries met on the platform, including 288 broadcasters, 207 exhibitors and 267 observers. An important platform facilitating the dissemination of Quebec and international creations beyond borders, CINARS Web succeeded in its mission to maintain the link between different professionals in the sector after the postponement of the CINARS Biennial to May 21.
"CINARS Web was able to offer a multidisciplinary meeting necessary at this time of the health crisis. All actors in the performing arts have looked forward to this event after several complicated months. CINARS Web has allowed everyone to meet, exchange and generate productive and promising meetings for the future." said Mr. Alain Paré, President, CEO and founder of CINARS.

About CINARS
CINARS (International Conference for the Performing Arts) was born in 1984 from the desire to innovate of a few representatives of artistic companies and visionary artists' agents who had the audacity to turn to other audiences and territories. Since then, CINARS' goal has been to create a global gathering place to showcase the talent and originality of artists from Quebec, Canada and abroad with a view to developing international tours. With the CINARS Biennale, the non-profit organization has created the world's first multidisciplinary performing arts market. It is a flagship event in the international cultural landscape and CINARS has become a world-renowned reference service to foster international exchanges for the performing arts around the world.
