Eight physicians who have practiced medicine for 50 years will be honored: Norman H. Amster DO, David J. Eskin MD, Lee L. Konecke MD, Michael D. Levin MD, Hanrik G. Ohanissian MD, Philip A. Rosenfeld MD, Charles. I. Wagner MD, Melvyn A. Wolf MD.
Additionally, MCMS will recognize the medical student scholarship recipient and honor posthumously William W. Lander MD., a past MCMS president and board member and past president of the Pennsylvania Medical Society, for his unwavering dedication to his patients, this community and organized medicine.
Registration Open: SEPA Regional Practice Manager Conference
MCMS will again co-host the 12th Annual Tools for Success Practice Management Conference, May 10, Springfield Country Club. The conference theme is “Building Bridges Between Medicine and Behavioral Health.” Break-out sessions will discuss managing behavioral health issues in the work place, healthcare needs of the LGBT community, workplace violence in healthcare, managing stress in a challenging healthcare environment and more. Physicians are encouraged to attend the evening dinner. Dr. Jaan Sidorov, CEO of PMSCO and board chairman of Norcal Mutual, will be the guest speaker and he will discuss the art and science of healthcare risk contracting.
