D U S K Y
LYDIA EP

The past two years have taught us that Dusky are not in the business of halfhearted activity. Since the inception of their 17 Steps imprint, a swift departure from their familiar stomping ground of AUS, Nick Harriman and Alfie Granger-Howell have made with carefully placed and stunningly relevant underground house music without so much as a glitch in quality. The Lydia EP lands to cap a year of strong extended sets and a handful of landmark releases for 17 Steps, but by no means signals a lull in stamina from the reliable UK house export.

TAIGA

With the much anticipated unveiling of the inaugural Vivrant release, the 'Taiga' EP, Jeremy gives the public a sneak peak into his sonic treasure chest. Filled to the brim with a seemingly infinite number of unreleased records his music has, at last, found a place to call home. In a time when the artform of curating an EP is on life support due to the rise of the more easily digestible and chart friendly single format, the 'Taiga' EP restores faith. Unlike anything you'll hear anywhere else, it paints a positive picture of the future of innovative dance music. HUGE 11/10. DRW

10 MINUTES, A MONDAY & ALEXKID
Known for working with Guy Gerber, Laurent Garnier & M.A.N.D.Y and in demand remix duties by the likes of Spencer Parker, Sasse and Damian Lazarus, Alex Kidd is at the top of game. Most recent stuff you can stalk down includes his outstanding ‘Avocado EP’ on Mr Josh Wink's super cool Ovum Recordings & the HUGE Kilimanjaro EP on Fuse together with a regular residency spot at the Fuse events in London & Ibiza and his second home at Rex club. recently we caught up with Alexis to get a little insight to the world of Alexkid. Genres aside and just getting the low down on what makes the cogs turn at Alex Kidd HQ. #friday #koh
THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG - J A M I E  J O N E S
Arguably the biggest house music import to touchdown on Bali’s sandy shores in 2015 comes in the form of Wales favourite son Jamie Jones. While we have known about this one for quiet sometime our lips have been firmly shut until finally the time has arrived, announcing to the Bali Clubbing world - Jamie Jones is coming to town. Jamie has been a firm favourite on the Bali Clubbing listening devices thru-out 2015 clocking up an amazing number of features across all our portals and its with much pleasure we have teamed up with Jenja to officially present a mid week showdown on December 16 not to be missed.
I GOT U BALI – DUKE DUMONT
English DJ and producer Duke Dumont first came to our attention as the architect of hit singles ‘Need U (100%)’ and ‘I Got U’, both of which reached #1 in the U.K, and sold enough copies in Australia to go Gold. The 33-year-old producer since then has gained so much momentum with each release he has arguably broken the internet more times than Kim Kardashian in recent times. Mirror nightclub down on JL Petitenget have secured some huge bookings in 2015 but this one out trumps there work to date and for any gambling man this ones a safe bet to say its gonna be a big one and talked about for weeks to come - you have been warned.
CROSSTOWN REBELS FIRST LADY – FRANCESCA LOMBARDO
Francesca Lombardo stands head-and-shoulders above most of her peers in the deeper end of house music, thanks to her skills and dexterity both as a DJ and as a musician. A member of Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels family, she’s carved out a strong reputation, playing around the globe at their Rebel Rave events and numerous high-profile clubs and festivals, like Burning Man, where she worked her magic on the infamous Robot Heart bus. Her classical background has given her a strong grounding in music composition, while her positive outlook and boundless energy adds an infectious allure to her productions that she also sings over. 19 YEARS OLD AUSTRALIAN REMIXES EARTH, WIND & FIRE AND HAS HIT THE #2 SPOT ON BEATPORT. WILL IT HIT #1
Melbourne native Throttle, a self-described “dirty disco maker,” has just proven himself with a stunning and one-of-a-kind remix of the world famous Earth, Wind and Fire track “September.” At only 19 years old, Throttle is the very first artist to gain permission to use the original band members’ work. Using deadly disco rhythms and powerful punches of synth, Throttle is able to breathe new energy into the classic song while maintaining its unmistakable appeal and familiarity. Believe the hype on this one as todays it's hit the #1 spot! Throttle we salute you.
