Amy Jackson from the W-League joins the Ambassador Team

Amy’s grandmother died from Alzheimer’s disease in 2013. She was struck by the impact the disease had on her whole family but especially her mum who was her grandmother’s primary carer. Therefore Amy is particularly passionate about advocating for the needs of carers and spreading awareness about the services available to support people affected by dementia.

You can read more about Amy and all our Ambassadors here

Check out the great photos from our Memory Lane Café event

The cafes happen across Victoria and offer support, engagement and interaction for people living with dementia, their families and carers in a dementia-friendly and fun environment.

Each event consists of a two-hour session where guests are treated to morning or afternoon tea, entertainment and the opportunity to interact with other people in similar circumstances. Our staff members are also available to support and discuss all aspects of dementia and our services.
