The Center is thrilled to announce that four Harvard doctoral students have been awarded the 2020-2021 Science and Innovation Fellowship. Over the past 13 years, this fellowship program has supported 53 emerging scholars whose research is focused on a range of factors that can affect early childhood development, with a view to finding novel solutions to persistent challenges.

Michelle Lee is exploring the barriers and strategies in accessing and engaging in early intervention programs and services among families experiencing homelessness.
Christine Junhui Liu is examining the impact of early sound and language on child development to help children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
This Working Paper examines how developing biological systems in the body interact with each other and adapt to the contexts in which a child is developing—for better or for worse—with lifelong consequences for physical and mental health.
The 2020 Promising Ventures Fellowship Program application is open and the deadline to apply is Thursday, July 30th. This is a no-cost, 12-week accelerator program in the fall for social entrepreneurs in early childhood development.
