Welcome to the newsletter of MyNewGut. The MyNewGut Project, which receives funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme, aims to research how the human gut microbiota and its microbiome influence obesity, behavioural and lifestyle related disorders. It also aims to identify specific dietary strategies to improve long term health.

Annual Meeting
MyNewGut had its 2nd annual meeting in Brussels from the 5th - 7th of October.
Dr Petra Louis was the keynote speaker at MyNewGut's 2nd annual meeting in Brussels. She spoke about her research on how diet affects the microbiota and the applications of thee findings for improved health.
