CORRECTION TO MULTI-STATE AAIS FARMOWNERS FORM CHANGES

Recently, MutualAid eXchange (MAX) adopted a number of Farmowners form changes filed on our behalf by the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS).  Notice of these changes is currently being included with our member’s renewal policies.  Unfortunately, there was a minor error in the bulletin announcing these changes.  With respect to the Incidental Coverage for Collapse, references to forms FO-2 and FO-4 were inadvertently omitted.  The correct statement should be:

When forms FO-2, FO-3, FO-4, and FO 0005 apply, the incidental Coverage for Collapse is revised to specify that collapse means an abrupt caving in, falling in, falling down, or giving way of a building or part of a building. The form specifies what does and does not constitute collapse.

A revised notice will be sent to all affected members.
