Women’s Equality Day commemorates when votes to women officially became part of the US constitution. This day marks a turning point in the history of the struggle for equal treatment of women and women’s rights.

On this day, we also honor the women who fought before us, thank the hard-working women who continue the struggle, and demand that our elected representatives:

  1. Pass voting rights legislation

  2. Add the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution

  3. Restore reproductive freedoms to women and those who can become pregnant
