We're lucky to have such a focused and dedicated MP in Ottawa on our behalf and I hope you'll join me in knocking on some doors with Andrew Cash this Thursday.
Andrew has given me a way into politics by speaking with an intelligent and honest human voice that helps me feel activated and hopeful about the course of our country.
He's my neighbour and has been an honest and reliable MP, true to his word in representing our community's concerns and how they echo throughout the rest of the country.
I want to see him continue to meaningfully champion the issues that affect our lives in little and big ways- building better security for precarious urban workers, establishing $15 a day childcare, increasing public transit and supporting affordable housing.
Andrew is an outspoken defender of arts and culture which includes stable funding for the CBC. I feel lucky that we have him working to keep a practical eye on what can be so intangible as our society's collective health and balance through the freedom of the arts.
I've know Andrew for over 20 years. He understands Toronto and is a fighter for issues that are important to all of us here in the city.
We can make history in the next election by stopping Stephen Harper and getting our country back.
I encourage you to join me to knock on doors with Andrew on Thursday.
