May 31st through June 2nd
Copenhagen, Denmark
Tickets will go on sale in February 2017
A few weekends ago, the GR8Conf Crew in Denmark had its annual kickoff, where we started to prepare for next year’s event.
The dates were already set for May 31st through June 2nd, but from there we had some good discussions about, what the conference should be. I'm not going to bore you with all the discussions we had, but I do want to tell you about some of the outcomes.
Workshops in parallel
We have decided to end the "University day". Instead, we will have workshops in parallel with the conference tracks. Workshops will start with a talk in the conference tracks and then continue to a more hands-on experience in the workshop area, for those who want to dig deeper into the subject.
GR8Conf DevOps day
Another new thing will be the last conference day dedicated to DevOps related talks and workshops. This day will focus on tools and frameworks in the DevOps space. The day will be in the cross-section of the Groovy ecosystem and DevOps tools that is relevant for the Groovy developer. With this new initiative, we need new speakers, and we ask the community to help us in the right direction. Write your suggestions to
info@gr8conf.org and we will contact the relevant speakers and companies.
Want to sponsor the event?
If your company want to sponsor the conference, please contact
sponsors@gr8conf.org and we will send your our sponsorship program with great ways to reach out to the Groovy community.
