This coming Wednesday, June 22, in preparation and lead up to the March for a Clean Energy Revolution in Philadelphia on July 24, Food & Water Watch will host for a discussion of dangerous energy threads in our region, clean energy solutions, and how the March for a Clean Energy Revolution can help transform our nation’s energy policy.

On June 2, 2016, the Interior and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) announced the proposed lease sale and Environmental Assessment (EA) for commercial wind energy leasing on 81,130 acres offshore New York. BOEM will hold 2 public meetings in June, Details here. The public is welcome to provide written or oral comments throughout the meeting.
