"LIGHTING THE WAY"

Donate to 350NYC's LED campaign and cut carbon now!
If every New Yorker switched just one compact fluorescent bulb to an LED bulb, NYC would collectively cut over 125 million pounds of carbon emissions per year!

350NYC's Lighting the Way LED Project is moving forward. Partnering with Phelps House, our volunteers have been helping replace CFL light bulbs with energy efficient LEDs in each resident's apartment. This month we will complete the  fourth floor apartments, providing improved lighting and increased energy efficiency. Volunteers have enjoyed working with the management and staff and engaging in conversations with residents about how these small steps help reduce our overall carbon footprint and hopefully help them reduce their electricity bills.

Help be part of the solution by supporting this very worthwhile project. Go to:www.gofundme.com/LightingTheWay  and remember to change your bulbs at home. LEDs can be purchased online for as little as $3.50 each.  We are all part of the problem - let's be part of the solution as well. If you'd like to volunteer, please email us at 350nyc@gmail.com..
