Monthly Coffee Social

It is time for the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce monthly coffee social! This month we will be meeting at the Clearwater Village on Thursday, April 13th, at 9:30 am. Join in the conversation about what is happening with the Chamber and other businesses in the community. 

 

A reminder of the First Baptist Church's monthly Ladies Luncheon. The lunch takes place on the first Friday of every month. The next one will be Friday, April 3rd, from 11am - 2pm. This event is open to ALL ladies in the community, not just church members. If you have any questions please contact Amy at 620-584-2058.

Community Biscuits & Gravy

The entire community is invited to the Clearwater Community Center for the monthly All You Can Eat Biscuits & Gravy event. It will be held on Saturday, April 15th, from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Cost is $4 for adults, and $2 for children. 

Land For Sale

If you haven't been to Clearwater, then you don't realize what you are missing!!! Clearwater has some of the best ranking schools in the state and is only 15 minutes from Wichita. Clearwater understands that it is a bedroom community and they strive to make it the best bedroom community around. Park Glen Estates is an east end extension of the very nice Park Glen housing development. Easter Bunny's Candy Scramble

The Easter Bunny has confirmed he will be visiting Clearwater on Saturday, April 15th, at the City Park!

9:00 am - Meet and Greet with the Easter Bunny
9:30 am - Candy scramble for kids up to 10 years old

Spring Clean-Up

The community spoke and the City listened! Our Spring Clean-up this year will be a curbside clean-up. You may place unwanted household items at the curb. Preparing for 3rd Annual Art Walk

The Clearwater Art Walk is going to be here before we know it! The 3rd Annual Clearwater Art Walk is planned for Friday, April 7th from 7pm-9pm. If you are interested in hosting again or for the first time, we would love to have you! Please fill out the form and return it as soon as possible. If you have a musician and/or artist in mind, let us know or have them print out a form and return it to us as soon as possible.​

Passenger Train Rides

Every few years the Clearwater Lions Club offers a great fundraiser! They offer passenger train rides from Clearwater to Conway Springs and back. If you like trains or you have young children who like trains, this would be a great experience. 

Saturday, April 22nd. There will be two times to choose from. 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Severe Weather Safety

Severe Weather soon will be upon us. Are you prepared?
Sedgwick County Emergency Management presents a program developed by the National Weather Service to help educate Sedgwick County citizens about severe weather and ways to stay safe. The following severe weather safety class is FREE of charge for Sedgwick County residents.

Trucks on Clearwater

Join the Clearwater PTO on Tuesday, April 11th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Clearwater High School for "Trucks on Clearwater." There will be emergency, construction, farming, and a number of other vehicles for the kids to check out. They will also have a train ride for the younger kids, and there will be food trucks available. They also ask that the first 30 minutes be horn-free.
