New member: Moorfields Eye Charity
 We are delighted to welcome Moorfields Eye Charity as a new member of the AMRC. Moorfields Eye Charity is the main fundraising and grant-making charity for Moorfields Eye Hospital and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.

New action plan and vision published on antimicrobial resistance
Last week, the government published a 20-year vision and 5-year national action plan for how the UK will contribute to containing and controlling antimicrobial resistance by 2040.

UK organisations receiving EU research funding are being urged to register their details with the government so they can continue to receive funding if the UK leaves the EU with no deal.

 Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity has announced Louise Parkes as its new Chief Executive. Louise joins the charity from Barnardo’s where she is currently Corporate Director for Income and Innovation.
