CORONAVIRUS CANCELLATION POLICY
Guests who have already booked and settled their final balance in full, but now feel it not safe to travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak, can transfer their bookings to a future travel date under the following conditions:
- Such travel date must be within 12 months of the date that the amendment is made;
- They would still be responsible for covering any variation in price for their new date as a result of exchange rate, availability, seasonality and annual rate increase;
- In the event that they do not travel within 12 months from the date of booking amendment, their deposit would be forfeited;
- In the event of a booking cancellation, instead of an amendment, the normal cancellation policy will apply.
Any booking made from 1 March 2020 would assume the same level of protection for guests as the above, as they would also have the option to transfer their booking to a future date at no cost should the guests deem it necessary. However, as before, they would be responsible for any price difference due for the amended dates, and failure to travel within 12 months from the date of booking amendment would see their deposit forfeited. Once the Coronavirus situation is under control, this interim cancellation policy will fall away, and normal booking / cancellation policies will apply.
Bookings may be amended free of charge up to 14 calendar days prior to the date on which the booking begins. If a client wishes to amend a booking less than 14 days prior to the date of travel, then standard Terms & Conditions and cancellation fees shall apply. Bookings can only be amended once.
