- How do I maintain my active lifestyle?
If you don’t already, please follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with everything happening at the Y. We are working on offering virtual opportunities to work out, fun challenges, and more. We hope you’ll participate with us!
- Can I cancel or put a hold on my membership?
Yes, of course. BUT.....remember we are more than a gym. As a community benefit nonprofit, membership dues are the foundation of our work. Regardless of COVID- 19, there are kids and families we are still trying to serve. The community is counting on the Y, and we are working hard through this crisis to be there as the community needs us. That’s the Y difference.
If you do choose to put a hold on your membership, we are offering it for free, for a maximum two-month hold. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request that hold (please include your full name, date of birth, whether you want a one-month or two-month hold, and your current email address). These requests must be received by March 30 in order to ensure a stoppage on the scheduled bank draft.
If you choose to keep your membership active, your dues will be considered a donation to the organization while we remain closed. After this national crisis resolves, we will gladly issue documentation confirming your donation for tax purposes.
We understand your concerns but ask that you continue to be a part of our movement at a critical time like this. It’s easy to forget that membership means more to a Y during this time. Please help us be a part of the solution by keeping your membership active. Only our members can help ensure the future of our continued community impact!
Thank you for your support and understanding during these challenging times. We look forward to continuing to serve you and our community!
