Its time to meet our Tribe!. Each newsletter we will introduce one of the members of our team! This month meet Brooke Hepburn-Rogers - Director Stellar Super.
Q1 – When you were little, what did you want to do when you “grew up”
A – A Police Officer – In fact I took a one year hiatus from accounting in 2014, before I came here and got into the Tasmanian Police Academy. Family matters meant my return to SMSF Accounting, and me coming to Canberra in 2015 (which has worked out well – goes to show you don’t know what life has in store for you 😊 ).
Q2 – Who would you most like to swap places with for a day?
A – My little brother, he is a PGA golfer, based in Singapore, and gets to work outside with sport. That or the family dog, that lives the life of spoilt luxury…..
Q3 – If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A - I have been lucky enough to visit a lot of places, but still have large bucket list. My next travels are Prague and back to Indonesia, but would LOVE to see Madagascar and Sri Lanka.
Q4 – What is your favourite family tradition?
A – When my brothers, myself and my parents get together, which isn’t too often, we sit on the back deck overlooking the Northern NSW hinterlands and cattle and have a cigar and drink Dad’s homemade martinis. Gets rowdy 😊
Q5 – Who inspires you?
A – There are so many, I would have to say my parents and brothers. Both my brothers have taken huge leaps of faith in their careers and moving countries and I am just so proud of them, they also happen to be the kindest and funniest people I know. My parents have lived a life of awe. Through hardships, and success, they have kept us a close unit. They have just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary (and happily too!).
