Holy Cross Mass
Despite the damage from the storm at Holy Cross Cemetery the annual Mass for the Faithful Departed will take place in Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel at 12:15 pm on Saturday, September 14.

Celebrating Season Of Creation
Last week Pope Francis invited all of the faithful to celebrate the SEASON OF CREATION. The Season of Creation lasts from September 1 to October 4, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. The pope describes this period as a time of “more intense prayer and action for the benefit of the common home…Creation is a project of love given by God to humanity. Our concern for our Common Home is born from our faith."

40 Days for Life
You are invited to attend the 40 Days for Life Rally held in the hall of Saint Patrick's Church on 2267 Brunswick St. We will have a guest speaker, Matt Britten, and there will be a Q&A afterwards. Mr. Britten is the general counsel for 40 Days for Life and a member of the Board of Directors. He has spoken in all 50 States of the US, Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, Mexico, Columbia, and England. He also helped bring 40 Days for Life into China! His talk will not be one to miss.

African Mass
On Sunday October 6, 2019 the African Catholic Mass Community will be celebrating our second anniversary. This inaugural mass will be celebrated with Archbishop Mancini and several African priests in the archdiocese. All are welcomed to join us for this monthly Catholic mass that is rooted in African traditions.

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross
All are welcome to Saint Bede Catholic Community’s next Mass on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, 6903 Mumford Rd., Halifax. All Catholics may receive the Blessed Sacrament. The Holy Mass will be celebrated according to Divine Worship: The Missal, the Vatican’s new text for the celebration of Mass in Ordinariates around the world.
