Tell L.A. City Council:
support rebates for e-bikes and legalize the "safety stop" for cyclists!

Two resolutions will be heard at L.A. City Council on April 6 which would put the City on record in support of critical bike legislation:

The first resolution (CF21-0002-S70) supports the "Safety Stop Bill" which would exempt cyclists and scooter users from having to come to a full stop at stop signs (a current law often resulting in biased policing) and requires them instead to safely yield to vehicles already at or inside the intersection. This is similar to the "Idaho Stop" which has become law in several states.

The second resolution (CF21-0002-S75) supports federal and state bills to provide up to $1500 in tax credits for e-bike purchases.
