Welcome back, everyone!
Hope you all are excited for the new school year since we have a lot of exciting events lined up for you guys! This week, we have the Student Activities Fair on Monday, Tom Deluca on Friday, and the Car Wash on Saturday. Hope you all had a great summer! We'd like to personally invite all of you to come out and represent OYFA at the FallActivities Fair this Monday from 11AM-2PM! Help us scout out those littles and show them what we're all about!
Also, don't forget to fill out the Ate/Kuya form if you want a little this year! The First General Meeting is coming up soon, so get those submissions in! The link is here:

Come out to support our biggest event to raise money for our charity, the HeCares Foundation, and Relay for Life on October 6th! What's up OYFA!
As the school year is beginning we would like to remind you of our upcoming event, the Lakas is Strength 5k! It is currently set on October 6th and sign ups will be available soon on the website, at tabling, or by contacting us for $20.
With the fall season fast approaching, let's get pumped for football! Our first Intramural sport of the year will be football and will be co-ed, exciting, and tons of fun. Even if you've never played football before, you can sign up and learn or just come out to support our team. Click on the link if you're interested to sign up!

What's up OYFAmilia?!
Jor and I hope you all had an amazing, relaxing summer, and we can't wait to see you all once again! Amidst school work, jobs, vacationing, and other shenanigans, your FIND chairs worked diligently this summer to make a bid to have the D7 Olympics at UVA this year, and we can officially announce to all of you that we will be hosting District 7 on September 28th for our annual Olympics! Watch out for the event page which will be up soon, as well as the event page for the after party which will be off the hizzle. Jor and I strongly believe that this year will be an incredibly strong year for District 7, and we truly hope you all will play integral roles in the successes of our district!

We hope that everybody’s summer break was AWESOME (although you orgo people sounded like you were DIENE...GET IT?!). Currently Student Advisor Sing-Along Sessions aren’t planned at the moment since we are getting our schedules situated, but if you guys have any pressing questions/concerns/comments/just want to tell us that we are the bestest people ever, feel free to email us!
