What up OYFA!
Thanks to all of those who made their way out to RVA with us on Saturday. We really hope that you all enjoyed the daytime excursion and that you all were able to treat your bellies with pho and closets with new threads from Short Pump.
We apologize for the miscommunication with FACT@VCU, but don't worry--they'll be plenty of opportunities to mingle with our D7 fam next semester!
Have a great two-day week and Thanksgiving Break, all!
Best,

General Announcements
Come to the free ONE movie screening of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, a truly inspirational movie with Emmy nominated Idris Elba (not yet released in theaters) on December 6, at 7PM, location TBD. Refreshments provided and discussion panel afterwards!
Interested in dance foundations, techniques and choreography? The Mighty will be holding its LAST weekly workshop of this semester!
The Mighty Presents: Fuego and Step It Up!
Where: O'Hill Forum
When: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 225TH, 7:45PM-10:00PM
What: Come one come all for our LAST workshop of the semester! We have the fierce dance style of Fuego who will teach several Latin styles and UVA's one and only non-Greek step team Step It Up (SIU)!
Fuego Dance Team promotes and exhibits Latino culture through the performance art of dance. The dance team choreographs and presents an array of dance forms from Latin American countries.
The sole mission of Step It Up is to celebrate the art of stepping through teaching and learning routines. Step It Up gives students, regardless of experience, the opportunity to learn steps as well as cooperate with leaders to choreograph routines.
For any questions or concerns, please feel free to send a message to any of The Mighty's Board members (shown as hosts on the event page), or send an e-mail to hdn4kj@virginia.edu!
