Hey there everybody! 

We are closing on the Winter Classic! If you still want to join, sign up below.  Don't forget to come to our weekly practices on Fridays from 3:30-5:00. The Winter Classic will be on Saturday February 22.  Get excited!
 
Don't forget we have our IM games every Sunday!  Basketball will be at 5:30, and volleyball will be at 9:30. Look out for more info :)
 
We will also be ordering jerseys for anybody interested. Fill out the following form, the cost should be approximately $23, thanks!

We hope you all have had a good past week, and we can't wait to see you at the general meeting! We want to thank everyone who have been attending Sports' football practices and who plan on competing at the D7 Winter Classic onSaturday, February 22. We need all the players we can get (especially girls) to play. Let's bring the trophy home this year!!!

APAHM is quickly approaching and we would love to have another annual Opening Ceremony 4th-Year Panel! Speakers should reflect on their time at UVa and offer their wisdom to underclassmen by speaking on the theme of "Breakthrough," which includes issues such as breaking through Asian stereotypes.

The Transfer Student Peer Advisor (TSPA) Program is a student run organization designed to help new transfer students become acclimated at the University of Virginia. TSPAs are primary resources for easing the academic and social transition of new transfer students into the University. You do not have to be a transfer student to apply! This program fosters a strong network of transfer students who can rely upon one another for support, friendship and guidance. TSPAs strengthen this network through academic and social programming for new transfer students as well as through close and frequent contact with their advisees.

This week's Featured OYFAn is Yiming Lin!

Tell us a little about yourself! Salutations, My name is Yiming Lin. I hail from Tampa, Florida which is about 40 min from Disney World. I am currently a first year who plans on majoring in commerce.
Now a few things about me… I think my favorite past time is to cook… I love fun socks…and I love to laugh and make people laugh.
 

Favorite GIF? I don’t really look up GIFs so I don’t really have a favorite one. Sorry!!! But I love vines and my favorite one would have to be this one http://vinescope.com/that-second-scream-though-1174.html
 
Favorite OYFA memory? My favorite OYFA memory would have to the Christmas Rotunda dinner. The Rotunda dinner was my favorite event because of the amazing food, the wonderful performers (especially my big Michael Lapuz ), and the great cause that the Rotunda Dinner benefited! Even though this was my favorite event, there was dozens of other events that I loved… Big/Little week… Semi-Formal… The Glow Run… Sakuting Family trips…Crashing other Family’s Family Trips…Going to Family dinners… Crashing other Family’s Family Dinners… going to Short Pump…Crazy themed parties... Chillin in the Mac room….and most of all getting to know such a great group of people! Thanks for making my first year so amazing! I will always look back and cherish these amazing and crazy memories. Love you all!
