FIND

Hello there, you fine lookin' piece of sweetness

If you weren't at the last meeting, we announced the unfortunate cancellation of FIND Dialogue due to complications with the venue. So instead to promote interactions within D7, Jor and I are working with some peeps from FACT@VCU to plan out some activities for this Saturday, November 23 in Richmond! If you're interested in going, it will be either a day trip or a night trip depending on what you want to do, so fill this out! Come out to Culture's Barrio Workshop tomorrow night, because we'll be in charge of Skit stuff, and it'll be a great time!

Keep in mind that this month's SFAS theme is Culture and Traditions, so ponder that for the rest of this month ;D

Trivia Challenge

Be the first to answer back with at least one correct answer to be the next featured OYFAN! But wait! If you answer back with both answers by the end of this week (midnight on Sunday), you will be entered into the Week In OYFA Raffle for a chance to win a prize at the next general meeting if you attend! Remember, the raffle is renewed every month so keep participating!

1. Which OYFA committees are running the Barrio Workshop tomorrow?

2. I choreographed the Pagapir dance at Barrio Fiesta last year! Guess Hoo?

This week's Featured OYFAn is Nico Braun!

Tell us a little about yourself! My name is Nico and I'm a 4th year, born and raised in Haiti. I'm an easy-going guy, love to play sports (mainly soccer though). I will be graduating next May with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Spanish. When I'm not out playing soccer, I'm probably watching soccer or talking about it. Other things I love to do are listen to music (EDM and Haitian music are my favorite but I like everything), watch movies (hit me up for some movie nights!), or sleep. Shout out to my Lubi-Lubis, my Singkils, Luc Pham's lineage, and my littles (Anuja, Jonathan, Kishan, Laura).

Favorite gif? I have two at the moment.
1)

Favorite OYFA memory: It's got to be Barrio of last year. I wasn't very active in OYFA before but I did Igorot last year (because my big signed me up for it without telling me) and it was really amazing. I got to know a lot of people (including my brother Ronald Middleton) at practice and I had a lot of fun. Sign up for dances everyone!

Answers to the previous trivia questions:
1.
