Be sure to save the date because this (FREE) show is going to be AMAZING! Rex Navarette is a Comedian that is well-known in the Filipino Community. Even if you are NOT Filipino, you should still come out because laughter is universal!

GLOBAL EXPO IS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS AWAY! That means we need to practice, practice, practice!
Next practice is THIS WEDNESDAY in Newcomb's Kaleidoscope Room from 7-9:30pm with Traditional at 7pm, Partners at 8pm, and Office Hours at9pm! It's not too late to learn Partners, so come out!

Sunday, November 10 ~ Tradtional/Partner
Wednesday, November 13 @ Ern Commons, 8pm - 10pm ~ All
Friday, November 15 ~ All til you get it right!!
Don't forget to mark which dance you are able to do!
We only have 4 official practices left, so practice on your own or with some friends in your free time! The Everyone dance video is out, the others are coming soon! Let Culture or the choreographers know if you need help! WE GOTCHU.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the class mixers this past weekend. We hope you all had fun bonding with another class :) Look out for more mixers throughout the year.
Don’t forget to get your tickets for ASU Semiformal 2013: MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE
Semiformal is this SATURDAY (11/9) from 10PM-1AM at Fry’s Spring Beach Club
Rides will be provided from Rice Hall starting at 10PM
This is not an event that you want to miss, so make sure to get your tickets from either the Lawn, Ohill, or Newcomb!
Ticket Pricing:
11/4-11/8: $22 for singles & $37 for couples
At the door: $25/person
Masks will be provided with your purchase of a ticket :)
This THURSDAY (11/7) is OYFA's November General Meeting @ 7PM, so you should all definitely come out to learn about Barrio Season, FIND Dialogue, and all that OYFA has planned for November! After the meeting we will be heading to BUFFALO WILD WINGS for $.60 boneless wings. We will be need drivers, so if you have a car, please bring it. If not, just come hungry!

Also, our annual Thanksgiving Potluck will be held on November 17th, 7PM at Lambeth Commons! Come and enjoy some delicious food prepared by each of the families! We'll be awarding the winner of assassins a prize at the potluck as well.
Lastly, our weekly membership lunch will take place tomorrow, November 4th at Newcomb Dining hall at 6PM. See you all there!

Greetings OYFAm!
Please keep signing up for FIND Dialogue 2013: Makabayan! As a reminder, the event will be held the weekend of November 22-24, and Jasmine and I guarantee that the weekend will be an absolute blast! Having said that, be cognizant of the fact that we will only be able to take approximately 20 people with us, so only sign up if you're really interested in going!
Also, if you ordered a D7 t-shirt, please try and get your money to Jasmine or I on or before November 9th! It is very important that we get the money into our D7 treasurer so that we can get our shirts in on time.
Finally, the FIND SFAS theme month for November is Culture and Traditions, and speaking of Culture and Traditions, be sure to come out to the November General Meeting to learn about OYFA's annual culture show- BARRIO!

GO GLOBAL EXPO: International Festival at UVA
Join the Asian Student Union, Global Student Council, Latino Student Alliance, Second and Third Year Class Councils at GO GLOBAL EXPO: International Festival at UVA held in conjunction with International Education Week.
Featuring performances by 16 different groups on Grounds, free dessert and tea from over 10 different organizations, and booths representing over 20 student and departmental groups at UVA.
GO GLOBAL will take place on Saturday, November 16th in Newcomb Ballroom and Main Lounge from 11AM-3PM.
