Community
Thanks for everyone who came out to support Lakas is Strength 5K last Friday! The event was a huge success!
Come join us for Trick or Treat on the Lawn on Thursday, October 31st from 4-6pm at Lawn Room 32. There will be a family competition for whichever family can donate the most bags of candy for the event! Points will be given for both the quality of candy and the quantity of candy donated!
Look out for concessions in November!

Thanks for coming to Global Expo practice today! You guys looked especially SEXY today ;)
The next practice is this Thursday, October 24, in Slaughter MP2 from 6pm-8pm! Modern for Boys/Girls is at 6pm and Traditional is at 7pm. Please note the switch-up!
Here's a list of all future practices, so please plan accordingly:

Sunday practices will usually be 1ish - 4ish and Weekday practices will be from 8ish - midnightish with the first half is Traditional and second half is Modern, about 45 minutes each!
Exact times and locations will be announced closer to the date.
It's very important for you to attend practices and learn the dances if you want to perform at Global Expo. If for any reason you can't make it, please contact us!

This past week the Visayas region of the Philippines suffered a devastating Earthquake. The Earthquake reached ~7.9, "toppling bridges, shattering roads, causing landslides and reducing historic churches to rubble."
Please keep the victims and their families in your thoughts.

Dear OYFAmily,
The moment has arrived! We've received word that FIND Dialogue 2013 will be held the weekend of NOVEMBER 22-24 AT KEAN UNIVERSITY in Union, NJ! This year's theme is "Makabayan," which stands for patriotism, so whether or not you're Filipino, come learn about and discuss different topics and issues dealing with patriotism, while also fostering a sense of unity within the schools of our district as well as the schools of the other six districts!
If you're interested at all, fill this form out! We'll use this as a guide to what you're curious about and so that we can give you more information abou tthe event!
Lastly, please remember that this month's SFAS theme is History, so make sure to attend the Historic Session on October 28!
