Hello OYFA!

We are in the midst of creating the 2014 Barrio Program, and we need your help to continue to make it as awesome as it is year after year!

If you are interested in getting an ad space in the newsletter, please check out [this form] and help us share it with your parents! It’s a great way to help personalize the Barrio Program, and to make the Barrio experience an entire family affair. If you would like to see an example of previous ad spaces, you can ask either Eclair Junchaya or Katherine Jiang!

Fourth years, we know it seems soon to think about goodbyes & thank you's, but as Barrio is a little earlier this year, we would really appreciate your help to make this as smooth as possible! Please fill out your [blurbs] by Sunday February 23 :) Check your emails & FB group for more details on this process.

Love,

PR

FIND

Hey OYFAm!

As we've been saying in the past couple of WIOs, FIND's major events for February are William and Mary FASA's Culture Show on Sunday, February 19 and the D7 Football Invitational, which will be held on February 22.

If you're interested in heading over to W&M with us, please sign up on the google doc here! The show starts at 3pm, so if you do want to come, please be aware of the fact that we'll be away from about 11am-9pm.

Second, with regard to the Invitational, please keep going to the football practices. The coaches are beginning to finalize rosters, so it's important that they see your shining faces at all the practices.

That's all for now, OYFA. A driver's packet for Tech is in the works, so be on the lookout for that.

Dear OYFAmily,

Did you know the Philippines has its first ever figure skater in this year's Winter Olympics? 17 year old Michael Christian Martinez is the only representative from the Philippines at Sochi and is the first participant in 22 years. He is also the first to represent a Southeast Asian country in figure skating. How amazing is that?!? Keep an eye out for him when he takes part of the Male figure skating competition soon!

Much mahal,
