Policy makers embrace Passive House building
The Passive House Standard is being inked into building codes, as the proven best way to build for comfort and energy efficiency. Last week we were in Geneva as part of the UNECE meeting to discuss global transformation of buildings and the role the Passive House Standard can play in creating sustainable cities.
Closer to home, the BC Climate Leadership Plan highlights the Passive House Standard as a means to achieve climate change targets. These policy changes mark a huge step and a larger commitment to drive the market towards high performance building!
