Visit Grand Junction eNewsletter - June 2022
Blow up your floaty, slather on the SPF, and grab your swimsuit - it's time to play on the Colorado River! The benefit of recreating on Grand Junction's waterways are the calm rivers - no whitewater until you float to Utah! Go SUPing, kayaking, rafting or just soak in the river, which winds through Grand Junction. Are lakes more your speed? GJ has that too - over 300 lakes on the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat-top mountain, just 45 minutes from town. And don't forget, safety first. Be sure to visit one of the free PFD stations along the river if you do not have a life jacket.
