I want to meet you. First, some context:

Last year, I held a series of virtual get-togethers called "Chai Chats." Over our favorite beverages (mine being chai tea), I shared my honest and often provocative opinions about a big news event − Russia's invasion of Ukraine or the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on a Constitutional right to abortion.

|
Then I invited participants to disagree with me so we could practice the skills of Moral Courage: for example, curiosity and empathy, among others.
|
|
Something more happened last year and is still going on:
A whole lot of you took, or are now taking, one of the two online courses that I've produced to teach the skills of Moral Courage.
(Here's the version for K-12 educators; here's the version for all other professionals.)

So the 2023 Chai Chats will involve a twist: They'll include opportunities for you to ask questions about what you're learning from the online course. This is a sample that I've already been asked:

Let me be clear: You don't have to take the course to benefit from these questions. If you're part of a family that could use some skills to create common ground (even as everyone stands their ground!), you'll want to hear my answer to any question that a course-taker asks.
Nor will an entire Chai Chat be devoted to questions sparked by the course. We'll still discuss how to deal with what's going down in our chaotic world(s).

I simply want to make space during our Chai Chats for those who'd like my mentorship.
It's time to grow beyond feeling inspired. Inspiration evaporates as soon as s*** gets real.
Now's our chance to move from inspiration to IMPACT. Which means learning how to use the tools of Moral Courage in messy moments.
