DE Relief Grants UPDATE

There has been some confusion surrounding the “bonus” portion announced on the DE Relief Grants.
On October 28th, modifications were made to the program which impacted disproportionately impacted businesses. Previously approved applicants in disproportionately impacted industries will be receiving a 15% bonus allocation to be used on any valid business expense from the date of the business’s acceptance of its grant award through the end of 2020. This applies to new applicants, as well as those awarded grants in Rounds 1 and 2. Applicants in Round 3 which closes on December 4,2020 will also be eligible.
The below industries are designated as disproportionately impacted:
Businesses with NAICS code on their 2019 tax returns starting with the following sets of two numbers:

44 (Retail Trade)
45 (Retail Trade)
71 (Arts, Entertainment, & Recreation)
72 (Food Services & Drinking Places)
Businesses with NAICS code on their 2019 tax returns starting with the following sets of four numbers:
4855 (Charter Bus Industry)
6116 (Private Instruction)
6212 (Offices of Dentists)
6244 (Child Care Services)
8121 (Personal Care Services)
8129 (Other Personal Services)
On November 17,2020 and additional bonus was put in place that is available to those businesses who were impacted by the restrictions that have been put in place effective November 23,2020. These businesses include restaurants, gyms and venues. This portion of the bonus can only be used for “forward – looking” expenses through December 30,2020.
If you have received a DE Relief Grant in either Round 1 or Round 2, qualify as a disproportionately impacted business , and have not received notification from the State of Delaware, we are recommending that you log into the original application portal to determine if the “bonus” is waiting for you.  The link for the log-in is
