To provide Grand Junction with additional Spring Break visibility, Visit GJ seized an opportunity to highlight the area on 11 national news channels between February 17 and March 7, 2022. Grand Junction was mentioned as a top Spring Break destination on 11 live news features (Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Denver, Richmond, Rochester, Las Vegas, Charleston, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City), as a result of Visit GJ's PR efforts. Per Visit GJ's request, the Grand Junction Regional Airport was also highlighted, as you can see in this live Chicago segment.
