To provide Grand Junction with additional Spring Break visibility, Visit GJ seized an opportunity to highlight the area on 11 national news channels between February 17 and March 7, 2022. Grand Junction was mentioned as a top Spring Break destination on 11 live news features (Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Denver, Richmond, Rochester, Las Vegas, Charleston, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City), as a result of Visit GJ's PR efforts. Check out a few of the news clips here: Fox 24 CharlestonCBS Richmond, Fox 2 Detroit, and Fox Rochester. Per Visit GJ's request, the Grand Junction Regional Airport was also highlighted, as you can see in this live Chicago segment.

As a result of Visit GJ's PR efforts, Colorado National Monument was the headline image and Ute Canyon Overlook Trail was included as one of the "16 Best Sunset Hikes in America" by Travel & Leisure. Serpent's Trail and Rim Rock Drive were also mentioned.

As a result of Visit GJ's PR efforts, Grand Junction was featured in the May 2022 print edition of Cosmopolitan magazine. The article mentioned Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Area, Two Rivers Winery & Chateau, Bin 707 Foodbar, Hotel Maverick's Devil's Kitchen, and Handlebar Tap House. This article equates to an ad equivalency of $599,500 and some serious street cred!
