Budget Travel published an online article titled "Discover USA: Grand Junction, CO". Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, The Riverfront Trail, James M. Robb State Park, Highline Lake State Park, McInnis Canyons NCA, Art on the Corner, Tabeguache Trail, Lunch Loops, and Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Preserve were some of the areas featured in the article. Local businesses mentioned include the following: Carlson Vineyard's Downtown Tasting Room, The Zesty Moose, Two Rivers Winery and Chateau, Highlands Distillery, Ramblebine Brewery, Foam & Folly, Moody's Lounge, Kulina Lani Organic Sourdough Bakery, Bin 707, Taco Party, The Hog and the Hen, 626 on Rood, The Glorious Fig, Devil's Kitchen, Eureka! McConnell Science Museum, Museum of Western Colorado, Avalon Theatre, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Tiara Rado Course, Redlands Mesa Golf Course, and other Grand Junction area businesses. AAA Living’s article in the March/April/May 2022 print issue, “Three Days in the Western Slope” was published featuring three agritourism- and outdoor adventure-filled days in Grand Junction, Palisade, and Fruita. Day 2 was dedicated to Grand Junction which included highlights of Two Rivers Winery & Chateau, Colorado National Monument, Grand Mesa, Hotel Maverick & Devil’s Kitchen, Colorado Riverfront Trail, and Western Colorado Botanical Gardens. Travel + Leisure published an online article “11 Best Desert Towns in the U.S. for Beautiful Landscapes and Mystical Vibes”, which featured Grand Junction as a Wild West desert getaway with red rocks and wild horses roaming nearby hills. It also highlighted Downtown GJ’s Art on the Corner. AFAR Magazine featured the Colorado National Monument in the article, “8 Unmissable Weekend Getaways in Grand Junction”, which also highlighted Rim Rock Drive and Devil’s Kitchen trail on the Monument, Ute Canyon, Dinosaur Hill Trailhead and Dinosaur Journey Museum, Hotel Maverick, SunCrest Orchards Alpacas, and the Palisade Fruit & Wine Byway. As a result of CTO's pitching efforts, Elevation Outdoors published an article in print and online titled "Taking the Plunge". The article featured the Palisade Plunge, Colorado National Monument, Whitewater Creek, Grand Mesa and Grand Junction area businesses.
