Hey there,
Happy New Year! It’s finally 2016 and I’m excited to see the future is here!

With it being the new year and all, I’m making changes. Big ones.

Like changing the name of this little ‘ole business of mine to Kate Farrall Coaching. My old name wasn’t a good reflection of where my business is going and honestly it was a little hard to remember. I’m really happy to let it go and move into my new biz name and, new online digs.

Yep, you read that right. A new website is up! It was created using the SquareSpace platform-which I’m loving!

Getting back into the swing of things after the holidays has been hard but I’m slooooowly getting there. I’m re-committing to my goals for the year and my action plan to achieve those beauties.

How are you doing with this “back-at-it” week? Are you feeling like you have achievable goals in place or are you feeling overwhelmed by all the things you’d like to do this year?

If you’re not sure what ONE goal to pick for the year, I’m offering a suggestion. It sounds big. It may be scary. But, it will be the one thing that you can count on to make your year feel fuller and more satisfying.

So, here’s to us celebrating a year from now that you’ve been kill’n it with an email plan to share what you do!

As an artist, one of the most powerful and effective ways you can sell work is by creating a regular email to your collectors, clients, customers, friends and potential buyers. I know this may seem a little too daunting (how can I come up with enough to say?) but it works.

Not only will consistent and authentically "you" messages get buyers interested in your work, people will feel so much more connected to you. They’ll let you know that they’re part of your virtual and happy support team.

You’ll be building relationships and connecting with people without having to show up at every event in town (I can hear our inner-introverts cheering now).

If you want this to be the year where selling more work is a priority, you can’t afford not to add a genuine and non-schmoozy email newsletter to your mix.

Creating a recurring email message that you send to everyone that’s opted-in to your list is one of the BEST ways to sell more work, and it’s free and easy to figure out.

I know this sounds good but it requires a commitment and ability to take it on. You may have even thought about doing this before but felt like it was too corporate-like or just hard to do.
