Jozo Weider Award - New this Season

Jozo Weider Award is a new award that will recognize a person who has dedicated a large amount of time to the betterment of the club and/or has made a significant change that has provided long term benefits to the club.  A special committee will be created to be made up of an Alumni, Coach and Parent Committee members to nominate individuals and select a recipient.  Committee members will be determined soon and nominations will be made after family day weekend and published.  The winning recipient of the award will be recognized at our awards banquet March 7, 2020.


Thank you to all of the parent committee volunteers for their tireless work in the off season to make this opening weekend a success!  Thank you to our retiring committee members for their contributions to the success of the club!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Ski Swap this year.  We hope everyone was successful in both purchasing and selling items. There were a lot of great items to choose from again this year. It was another huge success!

Team Managers

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to manage their racer’s team this year. I hope you find it an enjoyable and rewarding experience. We still have teams without a Team Manager, particularly at the U10 level. If you are able to manage a team, please email We are hosting a Team Manager information session this weekend

Race Volunteer Meeting

Are you interested in helping on Race Day?! We will be holding a short meeting on Saturday morning to help you learn more about what is needed to run a home race here at Blue Mountain. Join us for a quick overview on gate judge, finish referee, start organizer, etc.

Jozo Jackets & Apparel

This is a reminder to any athletes that have not yet pick up the jackets that they had ordered through Karbon last season to please do so this coming weekend. We will be in the Kandahar Room during the lunch hour.

Please visit the apparel tables again over the weekend to try on items from our Jozo Swag Line up.

The online store will be up and running soon! You will be able to log in and purchase your favourite items before we sell out. 

Champion hoodies are a hot item this year you don't want to miss out on this great opportunity of owning a great Jozo branded hoodie!


Apres Saturdays

Starting on January 11th and each Saturday until February 29th, please join us from 2 pm – 4 pm for Apres in the Kandahar room. Grab a drink at the cash bar while waiting for our athletes to come off the hill and meet some of the other awesome families. It’s a great time to unwind and meet new friends.

Teamsnap Rosters / Memberships

If you have purchased your Membership and have checked your spam/junk folder but have NOT received an invite / or welcome for your athlete to join/be added to their respected rosters, OR if they have been rostered to the incorrect team,  please come see one of our volunteers at the info desk on Saturday or Sunday morning so they can assist you.

**Remember that in order for your athlete to be rostered on TeamSnap, you must purchase a Membership for each athlete

Awards Banquet- March 7, 2020

Our Awards Banquet for our 2-day racers will be on the evening of Saturday, March 7th in the Village Conference Centre. The Awards Banquet is a fantastic event to celebrate the end of the season with trophies and medals given out to our Jozo athletes. The event includes Hors D’Oeuvres, Dinner, Dessert, Awards Ceremony & Dancing, with Cash Bar.

The Banquet is a very popular event so purchase your tickets soon.

Adults & Teens (13+) $75
Youth (Under 13) $50

Please note that Jozo Membership is required to purchase and attend our Awards Banquet and that every child must be accompanied by an adult. The coaches will not be responsible for supervising the athletes.

No physical tickets will be issued as we will have a registration desk at the Banquet with the names of everyone who purchased tickets. When purchasing your tickets, PLEASE ensure you include the names of EACH attendee, if they are a Racer, their Team Name and/or Age Group, and any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Jozo Freestyle 

Freestyle Update

This past weekend was an excellent kickoff to the start of the 2020 Freestyle team at Blue. The Team, which includes both snowboarding and freestyle skiing, has grown immensely and welcomed a new snowboard cross team (from Horseshoe Valley) along with new coaches to the hills this year!

Kate Thomas (Kieran's mom) and Christine Morra (Gabe's mom) will be the parent representatives on the Jozo parent committee and look forward to continuing to advocate for our athletes and build community among the freestyle team.
