As 2016 slips away, we are reminded that as some of us are on the downhill side of life... CHRS Radio Central is still a toddler and is growing and thriving. CHRS has a long, bright future and our members, volunteers and supporters will and are making it happen. We depend on your support. So please RENEW NOW and DONATE NOW. Your support has made CHRS one of the finest Historical Radio Societies... Anywhere!

On behalf of the CHRS Board of Directors we wish all Friends of CHRS a very Happy 2017. 2016 was a good year for your favorite vintage radio society and 2017 promises to be even better. We wish you and your families Peace and Happiness.

Hasta La Vista Kevin!

It is a bittersweet time for CHRS as our longtime Member, Friend and skilled electrician Kevin Payne and his good pup Ambrose are moving away. Kevin has bought a house in Oregon and is moving to the country. We will miss him and his smile and wish him all the best. Kevin really enjoyed helping CHRS over the years and has helped CHRS immeasurably by totally upgrading the electrical system at Radio Central. He was one of our Volunteers of the Year for 2015. We can't thank Kevin enough. Kevin will keep up with CHRS and hopes to come back and visit. If you would like to keep in touch, CLICK HERE TO EMAIL KEVIN. So, we won't say good bye... We'll say "Hasta la Vista"... until we see you again!

Our Friend Kevin Payne Doing What He Loved For CHRS.

We Are Very Thankful to Kevin for His Fine Work and Good Friendship

$50,000 Construction Fundraising
Campaign For 2017 Has Begun!
Friends of CHRS and Director Philip Monego Start the Ball Rolling
with Generous Donations...
Please Join Them!

Fund Total Today - $29,000!

After our successful 2016 Construction Fundraising Campaign which raised $50,000... It's time to plan for phase 2 of construction of our Radio Home.

So, let's do it again! We want to raise $50,000+ to build our main display gallery, meeting room, staging area, museum store, radio control room and performance area into the great room in the 1900 part our our building. Also included is the display gallery and conference area downstairs, the Hall of Communications Gallery downstairs and the building of the Bay Area Radio Hall Of Fame. W6CF already has some independent funds set aside but this campaign will help also if needed. We hope to have some spiffy artists conceptions of the new areas.

As you will see on Saturday, CHRS is doing a first rate job of turning our 116 year old building into CHRS Radio Central. Our progress must continue... But not until after we enjoy the fruits of our labor by having many winter activities in our brand new shop.

So as 2016 ends, it's time to plan on making your year end tax deductible donations to our favorite historical radio society's 2017 construction fund. Many new amazing things will be built from this fund.

"The campaign has begun,
It's time to join the fun,
