Hello friends and fellow activists!

Many groups will gather for the AZ Legislature Opening Day to hear Gov. Ducey's remarks, to show our representatives that we care about what they are doing, we are watching what they are doing, and we will HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

What: State of the State Watch Party

When: January 10 @ 12:00 PM

Where: The lawn bench East of the House of Representatives  @ 1700 W. Washington St.

WHO: YOU!

Helpful Tips & Reminders
  • Please plan to arrive early to allow yourself time to park and find our group.

  • We will assemble at the lawn bench East of the House of Representatives.

  • Restrooms should be available

  • Consider packing water and a snack

  • Most attendees (lawmakers, etc.) will be in business attire

  • Red for Ed, Public School Proud, etc., shirts are fine, but please no candidates, elected officials, or other issues or causes that would create mixed messages, etc.

  • I will make a few signs if you want to use them or if you make your own signs please use language that we typically use (Public School Proud, Fund Our Schools, etc.)

  • With Omicron surging, you may want to wear a mask even though we plan to remain outdoors

Parking @ the Capitol Complex

This map outlines all the parking options, but I would check the Capitol Parking Lot first, located to the west of the AZ Legislative buildings, just off of W Jefferson St. & N 19th Ave.
