14 Cedar St. Studios Launches First Fridays!
Explore the Studios, Meet the Artists
—
April 1st, 2022
5:00-8:00pm
—
The creatives who make their artistic homes on Cedar St. in Amesbury are launching what promises to be an enduring tradition! The artists and artisans of 14 Cedar St. Studios invite the public into their studios on the first Friday of every month beginning April 1st.
14 Cedar St. is home to creatives who work in a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, photography, pottery, mixed media, and design. Originally built c. 1871 as a manufacturing facility for horse-drawn carriages, 14 Cedar Street was developed using sustainable remodeling practices. Thanks to Founder/Owner Barbara Lorenc, this once abandoned factory is now a showcase for energy efficiency and a hive of creativity.
Following the success of the ACC's 2022 Open Studio Tour, Cedar St. artists believe these monthly First Friday events will be an opportunity for the community to get to know the resident artists and their work.
Please note that if a First Friday event must be re-scheduled, a note will be posted on the 14 Cedar Street Studios Facebook page on the prior Thursday.
