September Resolutions

September promises to be an exciting month and we're jumping in with both penny loafer-clad feet! Did you know that we new have over fifty curated Diggit Shops on the site with new local artisans and merchants signing on daily? That's a lot of local shopping. Forget New Years, this is the time of year for new beginnings and resolutions! So, let's all resolve to support our local economy, eat the stuff in our gardens and wear more plaid. Go, September!

Eat: Wild Mushroom Flatbread

VCM Open House Party

September 7th (10am – 3pm)
The Victoria Conservatory of Music is throwing a party to inspire the whole family! Take in a free concert with Rick Scott, listen to live music from VCM students and faculty on the Pandora Music Plaza, bounce in the bouncy castle, check out the Instrument Petting Zoo, participate in music classes and much, much more! The Hungry Rooster food truck will be onsite offering VCM House Specials. Plus, there'll be free popcorn, pop, water, coffee and treats! Pop by the Diggit candy buffet for a little sugar! (more...)

Victoria Public Market at the Hudson Grand Opening

September 14th & 15th
Come experience the new Victoria Public Market at the Hudson! The day will be filled with local food, fun, entertainment, and exciting surprises. The event begins with VIP speeches at 10am on an outdoor, covered stage in the Carriageway, followed by a ribbon cutting at 11am. There will be a farmers’ market and local music in the Carriageway, cooking demonstrations and musicians inside the Market. Bring the little ones for free face-painting and balloon twisting!
