Welcome back OYFA!!

Hope you all had a great, restful break! Join us, Membership, and Community for
SUPER KAMAYAN this Saturday 2-4PM at the Lorna Sundberg International Center!! We will be rolling and cooking lumpia to kick off family week!

Thank you to those of you who were able to join us at OYFA-KSA Karaoke Night! We hope you all had a great time!

Word of the Week: “kamay” (ka-may) means “to do something (like eat) with your hands.” You have to kamay food in boodle fights - like the picture below!

Culture

Welcome back everyone!!!

Be ready to hit the ground running for Barrio practices! Final list of dancers will be coming out soon for traditional dances and I will be adding everyone to a closed Barrio performers group.

Thank you to everyone who signed up for traditional dances! We have never had this many sign ups in the past before! Unfortunately that also means that some people had to be cut due to limited space in each dance. If you are not in a dance please and would really like to be, please feel free to email or message me and we can try to work something out. Thank you all once again for showing so much interest :)

Much love,
Stephen (sgl9gd)

Welcome back OYFAm!!!

We hope everyone had a relaxing break and are ready to rumble with us this semester!! Get ready for events like FIND Conference, Adoball, D7 Culture Shows, OYFA Bake Sale, and just hanging out!

We’re super excited to see you at the
TOUCHBALL TOURNAMENT during Family Week on Tuesday, Jan 21st at 7pm in Mem Gym’s Multipurpose 2 room. Don’t worry if you don’t know the rules of Touchball, it’s pretty much a modified version of dodgeball and we’ll teach you all you need to know. If you need more proof of how great it is, just peep this pic of Alexa going in on the offensive side. Hope to see you there!
