SEARAC Summer 2017 Internship:
                         
Apply for SEARAC’s internship program for hands-on experience in policy, research, and legislative advocacy in education, immigration, health, or boys & men of color, analytical writing, communications, and more. This is a great opportunity for anybody looking to learn how to advocate and mobilize. Apps for Summer term are due March 1!

Green Dot Training:
                

On March 26th from 11am to 5pm, OYFA will be participating in Green Dot Training. This training will teach us the necessary skills of how to be better bystanders in helping prevent sexual violence in our community. The training includes a brief lecture, individual reflection, small group interaction, and high energy activities. The training is six hours long and lunch will be provided! Hope everyone's been going to practice because...WE HAVE BARRIO DAY COMING UPPPPP. Barrio day will be on 2/28 from 7-9. At this event choreographers and dancers will perform a short segment of their dance.

We have lots of exciting news for you today so bear with us! Firstly, The Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue (FIND) has officially ratified the creation of District 8 as of February 11th! We are excited to welcome the next big body of collegiate Filipinos to FIND, and we anticipate meeting with them in the future!

Second, D7 shirts are officially in! If you ordered one, please contact John(jah6vg) or Dani(dgr3ce) for your order. Didn’t order one on time? No Worries! Another round of sales will be happening in a couple weeks, so please let us know if you’re interested! (they look really dope btw)

We hope you guys are ready for this Friday because IT GON BE LIT! We’re not having a usual night event. Instead we’ll be having MR & MS OYFA at Maury 208 from 7 to 10PM! Bring your friends, dog, cat, professor, whoever to find out hoos going to reign supreme!

  • The Vietnamese Student Association is proud to present its annual cultural showcase. , TẾT SHOW 2017: The Tale of Three Cities! This year we present to you a modernized comedy of a traditional folktale, the Story of the Rice Cake.  There will be SWEET raffle prizes AND after the show, there will be a FREE Vietnamese catered meal! Please join us in our festivities for the afternoon!

    **Attendance is free**
    **Rides will be provided from Bonnycastle Circle at 1:20pm**
                 
  • Wish you could have more deep, challenging conversations? Want to explore your identity and broaden your perspectives? Interested in bringing about social change and joining a contingency of up-and-coming leaders?
    If so, consider filling out the interest form for PULSE! PULSE is a retreat where participants get to dialogue about topics such as gender, sexual orientation, mental health, race, and socioeconomic status while building relationships with students from all across grounds. The retreat is during the end of spring break (March 9-12) and is free of cost.
    The interest form is not any sort of commitment and is just so we can send you an email with the questionnaire and more information about the retreat!
