We're now in Lent, and so it won't be that long until it's Easter! Heads up about all that's happening in Kerith so you can plan to be with us.
Firstly, on Good Friday we'll be joining with the other churches in Bracknell for some Easter events (check the banner below):
11am - Prayer Walk leaving Holy Trinity
12pm - Passion Play (Union Square in the town centre)
At The Kerith Centre, we're starting off with a great event to help you focus on what Easter is really about...
Good Friday (10th April):Two meetings at 5pm and 7pm for all the sites to gather in the Bracknell Kerith Centre. We'll worship, pray, take communion together, and focus our attention on the cross, and Jesus' death.
Easter Saturday (11th April): An Easter Family Fun event across all sites between 2-4pm. It will be a great, fun, relaxing time for all ages to come and enjoy Easter together. We'll have an Easter Egg hunt, inflatables, food, music, crafts, all sorts, perfect to give any family something to do over the weekend. It's an ideal opportunity to invite friends and neighbours along to something near them.
Easter Sunday (12th April):We'll be gathering across all our sites to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus together. Make sure you can make it - it's the highlight of the weekend!
Kerith is going Camping!!! (or Caravan or Glamping or Airbnb)
Wildfires Festival takes place from Monday 25th-27th May in the picturesque rolling hills of West Sussex. Over 3 days we’ll spend time together praying, worshipping, having fun and growing in community as we welcome the Spirit and seek God for Revival in this nation!
Join us for just the Bank holiday Monday or all of the time - note your ticket to Wildfires gives you access to the Big Church Day Out for FREE, which takes place the weekend before Wildfires at the same venue.
Kerith wants everyone to be able to access this event so we are paying for ALL under 18s. Email email@example.com to get your Free under 18s tickets via our ticketing system. There are also bursary places for those wanting to access the event but may need a hand with the costs.
It’s that time of year to get your young person booked onto Kerith Youth Away!
This year Kerith Youth are going away to Newday festival. The dates are Monday 3rd - Sunday 9th August. We will be travelling by coach, that will depart and arrive from Kerith Bracknell on those dates. The Newday programme ends on the Saturday night, however we decided to extend our trip to the Sunday so we could experience the final night of the festival, without needed to rush home.
Cost: Late last year, you would have received an email with some information all about Kerith Youth Away. In the past, Kerith youth have delivered our own summer programme (SummerLIFE), however this summer we are attending an event which is run for us. Because of this, we just needed to work out the cost of the ticket for your young person. We didn’t want this process to stop you from knowing the plan, which is why you received a 'save the date!'
We are really excited to announce that the team at Newday have agreed to heavily subsidise our ticket costs this year, meaning the entire festival (including coach transport, and catering) is going to costs £100!This is a one year offer, but still a massive blessing to our church. This is amazing news, and we hope this makes the 7 day trip more manageable for your family financially. If you want to still support those who cannot attend, there is an option to sponsor someone’s ticket.
