Our small groups run on a termly basis, for around 8-10 weeks, where a collection of new groups start, that cover different topics and have varying purposes and goals. They are an excellent way to do two things:
1. Learn and grow in your understanding and outworking of your faith - the different topics covered can help everyone engage with faith in a way that can help you grow.
2. Find community. We don't want anyone to be alone. Our heart is to have a place where anyone who comes to church can build strong, healthy relationships with one another and do faith together.
So, over the next few weeks, new small groups will be starting and we'd love you to be part of one!
Equip is where we start our Theology Track. The course will help you to develop your understanding of the Bible by exploring the people, books and themes inside so you can piece the big picture together. It is a two-year programme delivered in evenings over 6 terms.
The Bible is pretty big, isn't it! We'd love for you to join us for the entire journey, but you don't have to: if you prefer you can "hop on" and "hop off", joining in for a term or more as it works for you. This term's focus is: Kingdoms and Exile (the history of Israel from entering the land, to being forced out of it!)
Term 2 starts this evening at The Kerith Centre. It's not too late to join! And if you can't make it tonight, why not join in next week? Sign up for the course HERE.
P.S. Equip Term 2 cost is £60. If the cost would be a barrier to you, please get in touch as we do want anyone to be able to come.
The mix of great food, great conversations and a chance to explore faith in a relaxed atmosphere is the reason why since its launch over 1.2 million Britons have attended an Alpha Course.
Never been to church? Not sure what you believe? Maybe you gave up on church a long time ago. The course was designed for you or anyone who doesn’t go to church regularly.
Alpha is a 10-week course with a day away in the middle. Each session starts with food, followed by a short talk that looks at a different aspect of the Christian faith. This is followed by a time of discussion in a small group of 10-12 people.
The next course starts this Wednesday 22nd of Jan, 7.30pm in Bracknell. SIGN UP HERE.
